(1) Upon examination of the application for industry registration according to section 4, if it is found that the necessary details and documents are complete and the process according to this Act or the regulations made under this Act has been completed, the industry registration body shall register the industry as requested in the application within fifteen days of the application. The applicant should be given a certificate of industry registration in the format.
(2) If an environmental impact assessment or preliminary environmental test is required after the registration of the industry, the establishment, operation, commercial production or business of the industry should be started only after doing so.
(3) If it is found necessary to ask for additional details or documents during the examination of the application according to sub-section (1), the industry registration body may order the relevant applicant to submit such additional details or documents within seven days.
(4) When issuing a certificate of industry registration in accordance with sub-section (1), in addition to other things, the following details shall also be disclosed in such certificate:-
(a) Date of issue of Certificate of Industry Registration,
(b) the period within which the industry must commence commercial production or business,
(c) Conditions to be followed by industry,
(d) Other conditions as prescribed according to the nature of the industry.
(5) If the petitioner does not submit the details or documents requested in accordance with sub-section (3) or if the procedure in accordance with this Act or the regulations made under this Act is not completed, then the industry registration body may reject the application for registration of the industry without cause and shall inform the relevant applicant.
(6) An industry registered in accordance with this section shall comply with the instructions given by the industry registration body from time to time and the conditions mentioned in the registration certificate.
